Meet Elle
My name is Arielle (Elle), and I am a Bookkeeper, with roots in the beauty and wellness industry. For almost 10 years, I have served my community as an Esthetician, performing both skincare & waxing services. After working for other businesses, I decided to open a skincare & waxing business in my own. I learned very quickly that this was easier said than done.
The career I fell in love with soon became the source of great stress & anxiety.
I remember asking myself questions: ‘Why am I working so hard, but not feeling like I’m profiting? Am I even tracking my revenue correctly? What do I do about taxes? Will I never have the peace of mind to take a vacation again?’
With these questions haunting me, I knew something had to give. But what?
That’s when I really focused on my business’ books, and realized quickly that another passion was brewing. I’ve always loved numbers, but never knew the place it could have in my career. But now, I do. And even better, I get to use them to help people, business owners, those who need the support & guidance I once needed as a beauty business owner.
Thus, Elle Ledger Bookkeeping was born.
The name ‘Elle’ is a shortened version of my name, yes, but it also represents light, beauty, and strength. The term ‘ledger’ is the foundation of any financial system — the place where everything is recorded, organized, and balanced. It represents accuracy, structure, and truth. Together, Elle Ledger represents the balance between clarity and structure — shining light on your numbers so they become a source of strength, not stress.
I love the idea of bringing light to something that once felt heavy or unclear. It ties right into my belief that your business’ books shouldn’t feel intimidating or overwhelming, but instead should provide guidance, confidence, and direction. My goal is to help beauty and wellness business owners understand their finances clearly, make informed decisions, and grow with confidence.
